*Responsibilities: 

  • Design and develop customizations for D365 Commerce POS (MPOS/CPOS). 

  • Work on extensions using TypeScript, C#, .NET, and Retail SDK. 

  • Customize POS UI, workflows, triggers, and APIs. 

  • Develop and maintain Commerce Scale Unit (CSU) integrations. 

  • Implement end-to-end retail solutions including store operations, payments, and inventory. 

  • Integrate POS with third-party systems (payment gateways, ERP, CRM). 

  • Perform code reviews, debugging, and troubleshooting of POS-related issues. 

  • Work with LCS (Lifecycle Services) for deployment and environment management. 

  • Ensure adherence to Microsoft best practices for extensions (non-overlayering). 

  • Collaborate with functional consultants and business stakeholders to gather requirements. 

 

Technical Skills Required 

  • Strong experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 Commerce / Retail 

  • Hands-on development experience in:  

  • POS extensions (MPOS/CPOS) 

  • Retail SDK / Commerce SDK 

  • Proficiency in:  

  • C#, .NET, SQL Server 

  • TypeScript / JavaScript 

  • Experience with:  

  • Commerce Scale Unit (CSU) 

  • APIs & integrations (REST, SOAP) 

  • Azure services (App Services, DevOps, pipelines) 

  • Understanding of:  

  • Retail modules (pricing, promotions, inventory, store operations) 

  • Security and compliance in POS systems
