Job Description
Purpose
Responsible for developing and leading the adidas Direct-to-Consumer retail strategy in the Country, driving profitable and sustainable market share growth across Own Retail Stores and Franchise Stores.
This role ensures that sales, profitability, margin, and operational objectives are achieved through the execution of a robust strategic business plan for the retail and franchise business.
Lead Country DTC Retail Business
Design and implement the Direct-to-Consumer retail strategy across the Country, driving business growth and strengthening adidas’ competitive advantage across Own Retail Stores and Franchise Stores.
Hold overall fiscal responsibility for delivering the Country retail business plan, including sales, margins, profitability, and other key financial metrics. This includes leading and managing the P&L for the retail and franchise business.
Lead the implementation of Global Brand, Sales, and LAM Market initiatives, programs, and procedures across Own Retail and Franchise channels to promote key messages and strengthen adidas’ position in the marketplace.
Maintain a collaborative approach and ensure consistent communication vertically and cross-functionally, securing alignment on internal priorities and ensuring resources are allocated effectively to achieve business objectives.
Lead and inspire cross-functional teams, including HR, IT, Finance, Profit Protection, Brand, and Operations, to support business goals by setting clear and measurable objectives, developing functional and relationship capabilities, and supporting career progression planning.
Advanced to fluent Portuguese and English are required. Spanish is considered a plus.
