The Production Planner is responsible for end‑to‑end production planning and scheduling to support manufacturing operations and customer delivery commitments. This role drives production schedule execution, finished goods inventory planning, and capacity alignment to meet Supply Chain Management KPIs.
This position reports to the Senior Manager, MD Assembly & Production Scheduling and is part of the Manufacturing and Operations team, located in Singapore, and will be an on‑site role.
In this role, you will have the opportunity to:
- Plan, release, and manage production schedules to support manufacturing execution and meet customer request dates, including timely work order creation and release to ensure uninterrupted production flow.
- Manage finished goods inventory planning by analyzing historical sales trends against PSI forecasts and translating insights into executable production plans that balance inventory targets, capacity utilization, and customer demand.
- Monitor capacity, risks, and operational issues, developing recovery plans to address quality issues, unplanned downtime, or supply disruptions, and highlighting risks that may impact schedule adherence or material availability.
- Collaborate cross‑functionally with Manufacturing, Engineering, Global Sourcing, Quality Assurance, Buyers, and Order Fulfillment teams to ensure material readiness and support new product introduction (NPI) and end‑of‑life (EOL) transitions.
- Drive continuous improvement and governance by applying Danaher Business System tools, maintaining planning‑related master data in SAP, and ensuring compliance with Quality Management System and Environment, Health & Safety requirements.
The essential requirements of the job include:
- Diploma or Bachelor’s Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Engineering, or a related field
- Multiple years of experience in production planning, supply chain, or related functions within a manufacturing environment
- Hands‑on experience with ERP systems, preferably SAP
- Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel and data analysis for planning and reporting purposes.
- Experience supporting production scheduling and forecasting in a structured manufacturing or operations setting.
