Job Overview
The GMP Stockroom Technician is responsible for the proper handling, storage, and distribution of materials, including consumables, chemicals, personal protective equipment (PPE), and other essential supplies for both GMP and non-GMP areas within the facility. This role ensures that all materials are received, transferred, and stocked in compliance with GMP regulations and non-GMP site guidelines, supporting manufacturing, laboratory, and overall site operations.
Roles & Responsibilities
To perform this job successfully and safely, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Other duties may be assigned.
Clean, maintain, and organize all stock locations.
Compiles reports on use of stock handling equipment, adjustments of inventory counts and stock records, spoilage of or damage to stock, location changes, and refusal of shipments.
Adhere to all GMP, safety, and environmental policies and procedures. Comply with safety and operational procedures. Stop at risk behavior of other and self.
Ensure proper material transfer by following decontamination procedures and unidirectional flow when moving items from non-classified to classified areas.
Adhere to gowning protocols to prevent cross-contamination when entering classified spaces.
Inspect incoming materials for quality, damage, and compliance with GMP standards.
Determines methods of storage, identification, and stock location, considering temperature, humidity, height and weight limits, turnover, floor loading capacities, and required space.
Distributes stock among production workers, keeping records of material issued.
Fills orders or issues supplies from stock.
Maintain detailed records of material movements, environmental monitoring, and audit trails to support regulatory compliance and internal reviews.
Maintains MSDS requirements per company and client guidelines
Makes adjustments or repairs to articles carried in stock.
Marks identifying codes, figures, or letters on articles.
Moves or transports material or supplies to other departments.
Safely transfer materials from general storage into GMP areas following standard operating procedures (SOPs) and strict adherence to GMP guidelines.
Prepares periodic, special, or perpetual inventory of stock. Report any discrepancies or potential issues with stock levels to management.
Requisitions articles to fill incoming orders.
Stores articles in bins, on floor, or on shelves, according to identifying information such as style, size, or type of material.
Verifies custodial equipment is in working order, meets safety requirements, and helps facilitate repairs/replacement as needed

Education and/or Experience
High School Diploma / GED with 6 months – 1 year of experience; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Certificates, Licenses, Registrations
CPR/AED/First Aid certification a plus
May be required to have a valid driver’s license.
Completed all safety and task training certification.
May be required to be forklift certified.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
Demonstrated understanding of GMP principles and cleanroom environments, including adherence to regulatory requirements, contamination control protocols, and standard operating procedures (SOPs).
Ability to read and interpret instructions, procedures, manuals, and other documents
Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Compensation and Shift:
Tuesday - Saturday (3:30 PM - 12:00 AM)
$22.00-$23.00 per hour
