You'll join a robust, well-resourced team — including board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists, pediatric hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house neonatologists — designed to support your success in the OR and beyond. This is a rare opportunity to practice at a dedicated children's hospital with a full spectrum of pediatric subspecialties under one roof, serving both the El Paso community and patients from across the US-Mexico border region. Position Highlights- Specialty: Pediatric General Surgery
- Schedule: Typically 2–3 clinic days and 1–2 surgical days per week; clinic hours Monday through Friday
- Call: Shared call, 1:3 rotation
- Patient Volume: 6–10 patients per clinic day; average 5–8 surgeries per week
- Practice Setting: Medical office building adjacent to hospital for seamless care coordination
- Facility: 110-bed pediatric hospital, including 40-bed general pediatric unit, 16-bed PICU, and newly built 30-bed Level IV NICU
- Support Resources: Board-certified pediatric anesthesiologists on staff, pediatric hospitalists, and 24/7 in-house neonatologist coverage
- Subspecialty Depth: On-site pediatric subspecialists spanning cardiology, oncology, neurology, gastroenterology, orthopedics, and more
- Guaranteed base salary with production bonus
