Build Specialized Technical Skills in Advanced Manufacturing
Biolyst Scientific is seeking a detail-oriented and mechanically inclined Industrial Process Operator to join our Grid Lab team. In this role, you will operate specialized thin-film evaporation and sputtering systems used to manufacture high-quality products for scientific and research applications.

What You'll Do
• Operate thin-film evaporation and sputtering systems according to established procedures.
• Process semiconductor templates through specialized coating operations.
• Support production activities within a controlled laboratory and cleanroom environment.
• Inspect finished products to ensure compliance with quality standards.
• Package products according to established operating procedures.
• Maintain accurate production records and process documentation through electronic databases.
• Monitor equipment performance and assist with routine maintenance activities.
• Work closely with supervisors to maintain process stability and product quality.
• Assist in training new team members on equipment operation and departmental procedures.
• Serve as a subject matter resource on production processes and best practices.
• Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and quality.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow detailed process instructions.
• Mechanical aptitude and interest in technical equipment.
• Ability to learn and perform complex manufacturing processes.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.

Preferred Qualifications:
• Associate degree or technical training.
• Experience working in manufacturing, laboratory, cleanroom, or production environments.
• Experience with vacuum systems or industrial processing equipment.
• Experience using microscopes or precision inspection equipment.
• Prior experience training or mentoring coworkers.
• Basic electromechanical knowledge.
