unarmed 2nd shift security officer
Summary: We are seeking a dedicated and vigilant Unarmed 2nd Shift Security Officer to maintain a safe and secure environment for our premises. This role requires keen attention to detail and a proactive approach to identifying potential security risks during the second shift hours.
Responsibilities:
- Monitor and authorize entrance and departure of employees, visitors, and other persons to maintain security of premises.
- Patrol industrial or commercial premises to prevent and detect signs of intrusion and ensure security of doors, windows, and gates.
- Write reports of daily activities and irregularities, such as equipment or property damage, theft, presence of unauthorized persons, or unusual occurrences.
- Answer alarms and investigate disturbances.
- Maintain order and protect property during the second shift.
- Respond to emergencies and provide necessary assistance as required.
- Communicate effectively with other security personnel and report any suspicious activities promptly.
Required Skills:
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Proven experience as a security officer or relevant position.
- Strong observational skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and remain calm in emergency situations.
- Basic computer knowledge to complete reports.
- Flexibility to work 2nd shift hours, including weekends and holidays.
