This role is highly visible and will be instrumental in the revenue accounting processes supporting operational requirements in a PE environment. The ideal candidate is comfortable operating in a fast-paced, majority offshore accounting organization, has strong technical accounting skills, and understands the importance of audit readiness, process discipline, and data integrity as the company scales toward its next value-creation milestone.What will I do?Ensure revenue recognition for all subscription and professional services revenueOwn customer relationships for billings, collections and cash applicationReview deferred and unbilled revenue for accuracyResponsible for all required sales and use tax returns, state registrations and other statutory filingsReview monthly revenue-related journal entries and reconciliationsPrepare monthly commissions and partner with Human Resources on payrollPartner cross-functionally with Sales and Revenue Operations teamsSupport monthly close cycles and annual audit processMaintain and enhance revenue accounting policies and internal controls
About You:Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance 5 years of accounting experience, SaaS preferred Experience in ASC 606 revenue recognition standards and their application in SaaS environmentsStrong understanding of subscription business models, multi-element arrangements, and professional services revenueExperience with deferred revenue calculations, contract modifications, and revenue allocationExperience with sales and use tax filing using AvalaraProficiency with Intacct and SalesforceAdvanced Excel skills including complex formulas, pivot tables, and financial modelingCPA preferredExceptional attention to detail and accuracyExperience in PE-backed or high-growth environments CST or EST Time Zones preferred
