Job Description

Supportive Behavioral Resources, Inc, (SBR) is hiring for Part-Time Behavior Specialists to support the positive, emotional, and behavioral growth of adults with Intellectual/Developmental Disabilities and Autism.


Requirements:

  • Availability to work at least 10 hours per week during daytime hours
  • Willing to spend 90% of the workday travelling between sessions
  • Own a working computer


Responsibilities:

  • Completing a functional assessment
  • Developing a Behavioral Support Plan, which includes strategies to support the individual based upon assessment
  • The provision of training to individuals, staff, parents, and caregivers, and ongoing face-to-face contact/meetings with the person and their team.

 

Qualifications

  • Master’s Degree in Human Services, or related field, or Bachelor's Degree with 2 years of professional experience working with individuals with ID/A
  • Minimum of two years working directly with individuals with ID/A; preferably adults
  • Driver’s License and Reliable Vehicle
  • Proficient and professional writing and communication skills
  • Knowledge of web-based data systems
