Gymnastics Director

The Granite YMCA is seeking a passionate and experienced Gymnastics Director to lead our gymnastics programs. This role is ideal for a hands-on leader is committed to youth development, supporting staff team members, and brings strong operational and coaching expertise.    The Gymnastics Director oversees all aspects of YMCA gymnastics programming, including instructional classes, camps, and competitive team operations. This role allows flexibility, depending upon the candidate, to bring experience in either instructional Gymnastics, competitive Gymnastics, or a combination of the two.    Key Responsibilities  Oversee daily operations of gymnastics instruction, ninja program instruction, camps, and competitive team programs Serve as Head Coach for the gymnastics team and provide hands-on support across programs as needed Develop and implement effective staff, program and facility usage schedules to maintain and grow effective operations Lead planning and execution of gymnastics-related events and showcases Recruit, hire, train, and develop gymnastics staff and coaches Lead regular staff meetings and trainings to promote communication, collaboration, and program development Build strong relationships with members, families, and the community   Promote programs and expand outreach efforts to grow participation and awareness Uphold YMCA risk management practices and ensure compliance with all safety policies and regulations Develop and manage department budgets, ensuring fiscal responsibility and achievement of revenue goals    Qualifications  Associate's degree in Recreation, Sports Management, Education, or related field (or equivalent experience) 5+ years of experience in gymnastics programming, coaching, or related leadership role Experience leading competitive gymnastics programs preferred Strong leadership, communication, and organizational skills CPR/AED, First Aid, and Safe Sport certifications (or ability to obtain)    Salary Range: $57,000 - $67,000    This is a full-time, salaried position with an extensive benefits package that includes:  Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance Free Family YMCA Membership 8% employer contribution to retirement fund 50% discount on Childcare and Camp services Discounts on Y Programs for yourself & family members Discounted tuition to some NH and online schools Generous paid time off – starting with 21 days and 6 holidays, accruing with tenure
