Mercedes-Benz Research and Development India (MBRDI), headquartered in Bengaluru with a satellite office in Pune, is the largest R&D center for Mercedes-Benz Group AG outside of Germany. Our mission is to drive innovation and excellence in automotive engineering, digitalization, and sustainable mobility solutions, shaping the future of mobility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Design, develop, and maintain automation solutions to streamline processes and improve operational efficiency.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather requirements and deliver scalable, high-quality solutions.
- Manage documentation, tracking, and reporting activities to ensure data accuracy, consistency, and transparency.
Required Skills and Experience:
Technical Skills:
- Strong proficiency in Python for building and maintaining automation tools.
- Good understanding of APIs and system integration (e.g., RESTful services).
- Hands-on experience working in Linux environments.
- Familiarity with Docker and containerization technologies.
- Basic knowledge of Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC) practices.
Soft Skills:
- Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities efficiently.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Engineering ( Computer Science, or related disciplines)
- 1-3 Years of automotive FOSS relevant experience must
- Relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, Six Sigma, Agile methodologies) are an added advantage.
Preferred Qualifications (Good to Have):
- Basic knowledge of Bash scripting.
- Familiarity with JIRA Query Language (JQL) or similar querying tools.
- Exposure to Microsoft Power Platform tools such as Power BI, Power Automate, and Power Apps.
