Your role and responsibilities

In this role, you will have the opportunity to plan and implement proactive promotional activities for the assigned target audience to create market demand and need for specific features or products. Each day, you will identify and develop sales opportunities by introducing, presenting, and educating the target audience about ABB products and tools. You will also showcase your expertise by building long-term customer relationships.

The work model for the role is: hybrid

This role is contributing to the Electrification Business Area in Buenos Aires.

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Implementing proactive promotional activities, including technical presentations, demonstrations, seminars, educational material, and technical development of projects and solutions for the customer target group.

  • Creating plans for target audience visits and conducting regular status reviews, including analyzing and deriving the insights and output of the visits.

  • Establishing and maintaining effective long-term relationships with target group customers to understand their needs and to ensure they are well-informed of the ABB product, systems, services offering, features, and benefits.

  • Ensuring efficient marketing activities and strong value proposition to customers by using effective promotional techniques.

Qualifications for the role

  • You have 5+ years of experience in electrical design, technical sales, application engineering, or project-based sales and technical promotion within the Building or Power Electrification sectors.

  • You have a demonstrated track record in project-based sales, technical promotion, and application engineering for Building Electrification solutions.

  • You are engaged in electrical distribution systems, switchgear, automation, and building electrification, with a strong interest in the Building and Power Electrification market.

  • Highly adept in Salesforce, AutoCAD (CAD), and Revit.

  • Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Technical degree holders, recent graduates, or candidates currently pursuing their studies are also encouraged to apply.

  • You are at ease communicating in intermediate English (preferred).

  • You demonstrate excellent communication and presentation skills, a sales-oriented mindset, and the ability to develop strong internal and external relationships.

  • You are passionate about driving business growth, identifying sales opportunities, achieving targets, and building strong customer relationships.

  • You hold a current driver's license and have your own vehicle.

  • You are available to travel up to 50% of the time.
