Full Stack Developer - Post Apply SHL (triggered by "New" and "Skills Test")

As a Full Stack Developer at SAPIT, you will play a key role in designing, developing, and maintaining software applications and web solutions across the full stack. You will work closely with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, designers, and project managers, to translate business requirements into technical solutions, deliver high-quality code, and drive innovation in software development. Your expertise in front-end and back-end technologies, as well as your problem-solving skills and passion for technology, will be essential in this role.

 

Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with project stakeholders to gather and analyze requirements, define technical specifications, and develop software solutions that meet business objectives and user needs.
• Design and develop front-end interfaces, user experiences, and interactive features using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and modern front-end frameworks such as React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Build scalable and secure back-end systems, APIs, and databases using server-side technologies such as Node.js, Python, Java, or .NET, and database technologies such as MySQL, MongoDB, or PostgreSQL.
• Write clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards, best practices, and design patterns, and conduct code reviews to ensure code quality and consistency across projects.
• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to implement responsive and visually appealing designs, ensure cross-browser compatibility, and optimize performance for web and mobile applications.
• Integrate third-party APIs, services, and libraries to enhance the functionality and capabilities of software applications, and troubleshoot integration issues as needed.
• Test software applications and web solutions, including unit testing, integration testing, and end-to-end testing, to identify bugs, verify functionality, and ensure quality assurance.
• Deploy software applications to production environments, monitor performance, troubleshoot issues, and implement optimizations to improve scalability, reliability, and security.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, or a related field; Master's degree or relevant certifications preferred.
• Proven experience as a Full Stack Developer, building and deploying software applications and web solutions across the full stack.
• Strong proficiency in front-end technologies such as HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and front-end frameworks like React, Angular, or Vue.js.
• Solid understanding of back-end technologies, including server-side languages (e.g., Node.js, Python, Java, .NET) and database technologies (e.g., MySQL, MongoDB, PostgreSQL).
• Experience with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud Platform) and containerization technologies (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) is a plus.
• Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex issues, troubleshoot technical problems, and implement effective solutions.
• Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in cross-functional teams and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
• Commitment to writing clean, efficient, and maintainable code, following coding standards, best practices, and design patterns.
• Passion for technology, continuous learning, and staying updated on emerging technologies, industry trends, and best practices in software development.
