Sr Consultant-IT

About the Role   We are seeking a Sr Consultant – IT to lead the modernization and consolidation of Kinetic’s consumer data mart onto a unified Snowflake platform. You will architect and build the foundational data infrastructure that enables downstream AI, analytics, and business intelligence tooling across the enterprise—translating legacy Oracle stored procedures, SSIS workflows, and Data360 constructs into a performant, governed semantic layer.   This is hands-on, full-stack architecture work. You will own pipeline development, data ops, catalog strategy, and lineage visibility while leveraging agentic coding tools and modern cloud capabilities to accelerate delivery and drive adoption across cross-functional teams. What You'll Do: Design and implement optimized data pipelines using Snowflake, Python, and Airflow, refactoring existing Oracle and SSIS logic into modern, reusable architectures. Build and manage a semantic layer that serves as the single source of truth for business analytics, natural language interfaces, and BI tools such as Tableau and Power BI. Establish data catalog strategies and lineage tooling to ensure operational visibility, quick break-fix capability, and consistent data interpretation across the business. Leverage agentic coding methodologies—Snowflake Cortex, GitHub Copilot, Claude Code—to maximize efficiency and innovation. Collaborate with business partners, peers, and downstream tool teams to translate requirements, normalize existing logic, and ensure semantic layer readiness for natural language and BI consumption. Mentor peers and drive adoption of modern data practices and templated architectures. Do You Have: 8–10 years of data engineering experience with proven expertise in full-stack pipeline and platform architecture. Deep proficiency with Snowflake, Python, and modern data orchestration tools such as Airflow. Demonstrated ability to refactor and modernize legacy data systems into cloud-native solutions. Strong understanding of data governance, lineage, and semantic layer design. Experience building or consuming BI tools like Tableau or Power BI. Comfort with agentic AI coding tools and their integration into development workflows. Even Better: Highly collaborative and comfortable navigating ambiguity. Able to mentor and influence peers while pressing for clarity on expectations. Strong connector who reads the room and translates effectively between technical and business stakeholders. Driven by modernization and change adoption.   The starting compensation range for this job is $108,100 to $147,500. Our compensation approach is designed to be fair and competitive. Pay for this role is based on factors such as your experience, skills, education, and location.
