Job Description

Education Requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field; or equivalent combinations of experience and education.   

Experience: Two years HR sourcing and full cycle recruitment experience. Previous experience utilizing an application tracking system (ATS). 

Position Summary: Actively involved in the full recruitment cycle from initiating hire requisitions through employment offers and onboarding. Ensures all positions are filled in alignment with company culture, and in a timely manner. The Recruiter will handle open requisitions with various levels of technical and/or labor market complexity. 

Essential Job Functions 

Follow the company recruitment processes complying with local, state, and federal employment laws. 

Utilize sourcing and recruiting strategies to ensure the company attracts and selects the best candidates considering skills, experiences and cultural fit for the position. 

Conduct intake sessions with hiring managers to qualify position requirements including qualifications, experience, location and or travel frequency, compensation expectations, etc.  

Coach hiring manager in regards to competitive compensation and collaborate with Benefits/Compensation if necessary. 

Obtains job descriptions, job type codes, and compensation from Total Rewards and then partners with Hiring Managers to develop recruiting and sourcing strategy.   

Sources active candidates from online databases, contact lists, internal databases, and employee referrals, and sources passive candidates through networking, cold calling, advertisements, job fairs, and Internet research. Maintains and grows passive pipeline of candidates, ensures every candidate whether active or passive has a great candidate experience. Partners with Sourcers  as applicable.  

Evaluates profiles of potential candidates and performs necessary phone screen assessments (screen all candidates for availability, interest level, salary range, relocation needs, and position qualifications); and then works with coordinator to schedule and attends face to face interviews (as needed) pending a positive outcome.  

Strengthen company brand by professionally representing the company to all applicants, employment agencies, universities, etc., and works in conjunction with all company employees to provide the highest level of customer service. 

Negotiates and makes job offers for positions in a timely manner.  

Tracks progress on each candidate in the applicant tracking system, and reports staffing initiatives and progress to supervisor on a regular basis. 

Contacts and provides good faith recruitment with disabled, veterans, women and minority agencies, applicants, colleges, universities, etc. 

Other job duties as required such as hiring events, continuous improvement projects, etc.  

 

 

Additional Job Functions 

Assists with college/university career fairs and Jobsite job fairs as needed.  

Monitors market trends by gathering information from other companies, potential candidates, online research and shares information with hiring managers and/or other stakeholders to ensure our positions, titles, compensation, benefits are competitive ensuring we are able to attract top talent.   

Seeks ways to improve departmental effectiveness by eliminating unnecessary tasks, increase the use of technology, etc. 

Assist department employees with various projects during times when additional support is needed. 

Performs additional assignments per supervisor’s direction.

  • Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, and Outlook) and experience with an applicant tracking system 

  •  Occasional Out-of-state travel is required. 


 

$30.02 - $43.53 Individual Compensation to be determined based on the applicant's applicable experience and qualifications balanced against internal equity.
