ABOUT OUR ROLE

As a Food Runner- Pool Bar, you play a critical support role in ensuring guests receive timely, accurate, and beautiful food presentations. You will be the vital link between the kitchen and the guest experience, working closely with servers, chefs, and other team members to uphold our service standards.

ESSENTIAL

FUNCTIONS

Deliver food from the kitchen to guests promptly, ensuring accuracy and presentation align with Trailborn standards
Communicate effectively with servers and kitchen staff to coordinate food timing and ensure a smooth flow of service
Describe dishes to guests when necessary and answer basic questions about ingredients and preparation
Assist in clearing tables, resetting stations, and maintaining a clean and organized dining environment
Support service staff with water refills, guest requests, and overall pool deck upkeep
Follow all health, safety, and sanitation guidelines to ensure food is handled properly
All other duties as assigned

QUALIFICATIONS

Prior experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced, high-volume environment
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Friendly, professional demeanor and a strong sense of urgency
Flexibility to work varied shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays

PHYSICAL

REQUIREMENTS

Must be able to stand and walk for extended periods of time (up to 8 hours)
Must be able to lift, carry, and balance trays of food weighing up to 25 pounds
Frequent bending, stooping, and reaching required
Ability to navigate through a crowded pool deck and kitchen safely and efficiently

SCHEDULE

Hospitality demands a flexible schedule that may require extended hours as the business requires coverage including seasonality– on any day at any hour, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.

PAY RATE

$12/hour + tips
