Aeronautics Systems sector is seeking a Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 2 or Supply Chain Tech Coordinator 3 to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position is located in Palmdale, CA.

Supports and assists activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process. Provides technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard supply chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing and Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business Operations. These employees are primarily responsible for the manual movement, shipping and receiving of materials.

What you'll get to do:

Support and assist activities within multiple disciplines across the Supply Chain process

Provide technical, tactical and execution support in various aspects of the industry standard Supply Chain business process areas primarily Supply Chain Manufacturing, Supply Chain Logistics, as well as Supply Chain Business operations

Provide logistical support

prepare and/or coordinate required shipping documentation

Storage, tracking and issuing inventories

Knowledge of Workbooks, procedures and forms

This position may be filled as a Level 2 or Level 3 based on the qualifications outlined below.

Basic Qualifications:

Supply Chain Tech Coord 2:

• High School diploma or GED and 2 years experience in material handling, storage and/or distribution.
• Must be able to support a 4/10 schedule for first, second, or third shifts to support operations as required
• The ability to obtain forklift certification
• Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures and requirements
• Experience maintaining records and providing traceability of materials
• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs., walk or stand for extended periods of time, and/or use warehouse ladder regularly
• A current U.S Government Secret or Top Secret level security clearance, to include a Single Scope Background Investigation, a periodic reinvestigation or an original adjudication date completed within the last 6 years
• The ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access to start

Supply Chain Tech Coord 3:

• High School diploma or GED and 4 years experience in material handling, storage and/or distribution.
• Must be able to support a 4/10 schedule for first, second, or third shifts to support operations as required
• The ability to obtain forklift certification
• Must be able to learn and follow established processes, procedures and requirements
• Experience maintaining records and providing traceability of materials
• Must have the ability to lift up to 25 lbs., walk or stand for extended periods of time, and/or use warehouse ladder regularly

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience using Microsoft Excel, Word and PowerPoint
• Forklift experience
• MES and SAP experience
• Must be detail oriented and have a strong work ethic

Primary Level Salary Range: $22.69 - $37.79

Secondary Level Salary Range: $26.92 - $44.90

The above salary range represents a general guideline; however, Northrop Grumman considers a number of factors when determining base salary offers such as the scope and responsibilities of the position and the candidate's experience, education, skills and current market conditions.

Depending on the position, employees may be eligible for overtime, shift differential, and a discretionary bonus in addition to base pay. Annual bonuses are designed to reward individual contributions as well as allow employees to share in company results. Employees in Vice President or Director positions may be eligible for Long Term Incentives. In addition, Northrop Grumman provides a variety of benefits including health insurance coverage, life and disability insurance, savings plan, Company paid holidays and paid time off (PTO) for vacation and/or personal business.
