Job Description

HammondCare Hammondville is currently looking for a Fixed-term, Part-time Cook to join our team.
 
HammondCare has a unique model of care which places the residents needs as our number one priority. As a part of the Support Service’s Team, you will support our model of care by delivering high quality services within themain kitchen at our Hammondville Facility catering for our valued residents in accordance with the organisational mission and mission in action statement.

Hours of this role are: 
  • Sunday 6am to 230pm
  • Monday 9am - 530pm
  • Tuesday 9am to 530pm
  • Wednesday 9am to 530pm

To be successful in this role, you will: 

  • 63 hours per fortnight available - must have large availability

  • Be flexible and able to commit to a range of shifts including weekends. Ideally, Sunday to Wednesday.

  • Must have experience in cooking for large numbers in a commercial kitchen environment. 

  • Demonstrated understanding of safe manual handling practices

  • Be willing to learn required standards in Aged Care for food preparation and safety. 

  • Have an understanding ofThe vulnerable persons guidelines for food safety or willingness to learn and incorporate these into your everyday work routine.
