Job Description

At Sonos we want to create the ultimate listening experience for our customers and know that it starts by listening to each other. As part of the Sonos team, you’ll collaborate with people of all styles, skill sets, and backgrounds to realize our vision while fostering a community where everyone feels included and empowered to do the best work of their lives.

At Sonos, we're passionate about creating the finest sound experiences in the world. One of the keys to great experiences is great software playing on our high quality players. Great software is as important at Sonos as our award winning hardware. That quality is built through different iterations of testing, from initial checkout to more comprehensive functional testing. The role of the Lab Technologist is focused on managing and maintaining the labs and physical device test beds used to test and verify our software builds. This lab and device test beds are critical to establishing the quality of our software and products.

As a Software Lab Technician at Sonos, you'll build out the key capabilities needed to be able to deploy, maintain, and reconfigure labs and test beds quickly, anywhere, with consistent capabilities for Sonos. Additional responsibilities include ordering supplies, reviewing equipment usage for maximum efficiency, and basic triaging of issues from both the HW and SW test environments. The Lab technologist will be able to review and give recommendations on the software test execution process, any lab and test bed upgrades needed, and the overall usability of the space and equipment within the lab. Your goal is to maintain labs and test beds that provide reliable results for our development teams. If this sounds like you, let’s talk about this.
