We are looking for a compassionate and organized Camp Nurse to help keep our campers and staff healthy, safe, and ready to enjoy an unforgettable summer. As the Camp Nurse, you'll oversee daily health services, administer medications, respond to illnesses and injuries, and play a key role in maintaining a safe camp environment.

What is needed for this job as our Camp Nurse:
Current Pennsylvania licensure as a Registered Nurse (RN), Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN), Emergency Medical Technician (EMT), or other approved healthcare credential
Current CPR and First Aid certification
Experience working with children, adolescents, or in a camp, school, pediatric, emergency, or community health setting preferred
Ability to assess injuries and illnesses, administer medications, and maintain confidential medical records
Ability to communicate effectively with campers, families, healthcare providers, and camp staff
The responsibilities we will trust you with as our Camp Nurse:
Provide first aid, basic medical care, and health assessments for campers and staff
Administer and document prescription and over-the-counter medications in accordance with physician orders and state regulations
Conduct camper and staff health screenings and maintain accurate medical records
Manage the camp health center, including medical supplies, equipment, and first aid kits
Coordinate medical appointments and communicate with parents, healthcare providers, and camp leadership regarding participant health concerns
Respond to medical emergencies and support implementation of the camp's emergency response procedures
Complete required accident, incident, and medication documentation
Educate campers and staff on health, wellness, and injury prevention
Partner with camp leadership to maintain a safe, healthy, and inclusive camp environment
