Primary Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and maintain robust full-stack applications using Java and JavaScript technologies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand functional specifications and deliver high-quality software solutions with minimal supervision.
- Develop and enhance client-side and web-based tools using Java and JavaScript (Ext JS ≥ 3).
- Implement and optimize backend services using SQL databases, preferably MS SQL Server.
- Debug and resolve issues within a mature codebase, ensuring optimal performance and reliability.
- Utilize development tools such as NetBeans, Tomcat, JMSL, JChart, and JASPAR for efficient software delivery.
- Manage source code using GitHub and integrate CI/CD pipelines with Jenkins and/or GitHub Actions.
- Contribute to the development of modern web components, including React-based interfaces.
- Develop and consume web services using REST and SOAP protocols.
- Collaborate with teams using PLM and Laboratory Information Management Systems (LIMS), such as Teamcenter and Opcenter.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in computer science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of professional experience as a Full Stack Developer.
- Proven expertise in Core Java and JavaScript development across both client and server environments.
- Strong experience with React.
- Hands-on experience with SQL databases, especially MS SQL Server.
- Strong communication skills with the ability to work independently and effectively with end-users. Proficiency in JavaScript libraries, particularly Ext JS (version 3 or higher).
- Familiarity with development tools such as NetBeans, Tomcat, JMSL, JChart, and JASPAR. Experience with GitHub for source code management and Jenkins/GitHub Actions for CI/CD.
- Knowledge of modern web technologies including React. Understanding of web services architecture, including REST and SOAP. Exposure to PLM, LIMS, REST, and SOAP and REACT and platforms like Teamcenter and Opcenter are pluses.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to debugging and maintaining legacy systems.
