Senior Engineer

Role description:

Supports the development and implementation of engineering solutions by carrying out a range of technical activities, typically contributing as a key discipline resource on smaller or less complex tasks within a project. The role focuses on delivering assigned technical work rather than leading tasks and does not usually involve formal task management responsibilities.

Role accountabilities:

• Apply Arcadis Health & Safety principles and adhere to the behavioural framework
• Support delivery of project elements in line with time, cost, quality, and safety targets
• Collaborate effectively with global teams and across design disciplines
• Plan and manage assigned work, ensuring efficient use of resources and timely delivery
• Provide technical support and guidance to junior team members
• Perform detailed engineering tasks, analyses, and contribute to technical designs with limited supervision
• Ensure quality compliance, communicate progress/issues, and support continuous learning and development

Qualifications & Experience:

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or equivalent and formally licensed to act as a professional engineer (if required in their Arcadis GEC country)
• Possess 6 - 8 years of relevant professional experience
• Experience in US projects is an advantage
• Proficient in engineering tools and software (e.g., Civil 3D, HEC‑RAS, SSA, CADD)
• Good problem-solving, communication, and collaboration skills
• Experience supporting sustainable design practices and contributing to technical solutions
