Job Description:
The Customs Brokerage House Clerk is responsible for preparing, reviewing, and processing customs clearance documentation to facilitate the timely import and export of shipments. This role supports customs brokerage operations by ensuring shipment information is accurate, customs declarations are prepared correctly, regulatory requirements are met, and communication with customers and internal stakeholders is maintained throughout the customs clearance process.
Job Qualifications
- Diploma or Bachelor's Degree in Logistics, International Trade, Customs, Business Administration, or related field.
- Minimum 1 year of experience in customs brokerage, logistics, freight forwarding, or import/export operations (fresh graduates may apply).
- Knowledge of customs clearance procedures, shipping documents, and HS classification.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel.
- Strong attention to detail, communication, and problem-solving skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple deadlines.
- Familiarity with Indonesian Customs (DJBC) regulations and CEISA system is an advantage.
