IoT Hardware Intern

Role Summary

Performs hardware development for IoT use cases / products under supervision of a senior engineer 

Main Tasks

Main Accountabilities

• Hardware intern responsible performing electronics development tasks, that can include
• Designing block diagrams
• Creating schematics
• Build prototypes
• Testing- automated testing if candidate has scripting knowledge
• Firmware development can be included if candidate has firmware knowledge

Internal & External Working Relationships

• Co-ordinate other engineers
• Liaise with colleagues at various levels, both local and foreign
• Support discussions with external suppliers (only when assigned)

Experience

• Undergraduate or graduate in Electrical / Electronics Engineering related degree
• Good analytical skills and self-motivated
• Ability to effectively communicate to all levels of the organization
• Willingness to work in a team environment
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Tools: Excel, PowerPoint, and Word.
• Knowledge of common development tools
