Microbiology Officer (QC)

About the Role

We are looking for a Microbiology Officer (QC) to perform microbiological testing and ensure product quality meets required standards. This role also focuses on improving testing processes and maintaining compliance in a production environment.

Key Responsibilities

Microbiological Testing (Main focus)

• Perform bioburden testing for semi‑finished products and components
• Identify microorganisms and investigate abnormal results
• Conduct endotoxin testing and prepare reports

Cleanroom & Sterilization Monitoring

• Monitor cleanroom environment and prepare reports
• Check sterilization results (BI test)
• Notify related teams if any abnormal results

Equipment Monitoring & Maintenance

• Monitor calibration and maintenance of lab equipment
• Track temperature of incubators and report any issues
• Work with vendors/teams to fix equipment problems

Documentation & Training

• Create and update SOPs and work instructions
• Conduct training for team members
• Participate in quality improvement activities (Kaizen, EHS, etc.)

Requirements

Education

• Bachelor’s degree (Microbiology or related field)

Experience

• At least 3 years in microbiology
• Knowledge of production processes is preferred

Skills

• Basic to intermediate English communication
• Good communication and teamwork
• Logical thinking and analytical mindset
• Computer skills (Word, Excel)
