Job Description Overview
The Customer Service Quoting Specialist is responsible for effectively communicating with customers, preparing and processing quote requests, sending quote acknowledgements, and clearly explaining quoted parts and their functions. This position reports to the Customer Service Supervisor.

Experience reading blueprints is a must

Responsibilities
The following activities are required in this position:

Promoting excellence throughout the department

Locate drawings and reference information using computer and paper files

Use Visual Estimating window and accurately enter parts/service for quotes

Ability to assess customer requests, identify the correct part needed to resolve issues, and consult with technical support or engineering as required.

Maintain a positive attitude when dealing with difficult customers

Ability to place orders in Visual, following the Parts Order Entry SOP
-
Simple releasable part quotes need to be completed within 24 hours of receipt

Proper disposal and handling of Proprietary documents
-
Other duties as assigned
