The Position
We are seeking a skilled General Liability Associate Attorney. The ideal candidate will have experience in general liability, construction, transportation, and/or catastrophic injury defense. This role offers meaningful hands-on litigation experience, exposure to high-profile national clients, and the ability to take on substantial responsibility from day one.
Key Responsibilities:
- Independently manage a litigation caseload, working cases from beginning to end
- Work closely with other attorneys and Partners on legal projects
- Regularly handle court appearances and depositions
- Communicate with clients and provide status reports
- Assist with discovery requests and responses
- Draft pretrial motions
- Efficiently conduct legal research
- Provide timely case updates and strategic guidance to clients through regular reporting and responsiveness
Qualifications
- JD from an accredited law school
- Admitted to practice in the Pennsylvania and New Jersey
- 3+ years of litigation defense experience required
- Experience with general liability, construction, transportation, and or catastrophic injury
- Federal court practice is a plus
- Strong knowledge of rules of evidence and procedure required
- Excellent organization, written and analytical skills and a strong attention to detail are required
