This key role supports the Administrator, Director of Nursing (DON), and Director of Staff Development (DSD) in managing human resources operations while fostering a positive and professional workplace culture.

Position Overview
The HR Manager plays a vital role in supporting daily HR functions, payroll operations, employee relations, compliance, recruitment, onboarding, and staff development initiatives. This position helps ensure a positive work environment aligned with organizational goals, values, and regulatory standards.
Key Responsibilities
Human Resources Administration
Support HR operations in partnership with the Administrator, DON, and DSD
Coordinate and facilitate employee onboarding and orientation programs
Maintain employee records, including hiring, transfers, promotions, and terminations
Assist with recruitment activities, candidate screening, interviews, and scheduling
Manage employee benefits administration, including health insurance, retirement plans, leave programs, and related employee support
Maintain compliance with federal, state, and local HR regulations and reporting requirements
Conduct HR audits and assist with employee relations matters and workers’ compensation cases
Coordinate employee in-services, health screenings, safety programs, fire drills, and disaster preparedness activities
Team & Communication
Foster positive relationships with employees, residents, families, and the community
Promote a professional and respectful workplace culture
May provide supervision and support to an HR Assistant
Qualifications
High School Diploma or equivalent required; college coursework preferred
Minimum of two (2) years of administrative experience, preferably in Human Resources
Strong organizational, communication, and customer service skills
Ability to maintain confidentiality and manage sensitive information professionally
Experience in healthcare or post-acute settings is a plus
