Job Description
The Sawmill Division is seeking to fill a part-time Industrial Mechanic (Millwright) position at the Veneer Sawmill in Saint-Léonard, NB.

- Perform maintenance and repairs on machinery, and install industrial mechanical equipment in a production environment
- Troubleshoot, repair, assemble, and conduct preventive maintenance on machines
- Read and interpret blueprints to manufacture equipment and perform modifications as needed
- Monitor daily maintenance activities and respond to emergency situations promptly
- Repair or replace components such as chains, conveyor belts, gearboxes, hydraulic systems, and perform welding and cutting tasks
Your qualifications:
- Diploma in Industrial Mechanics (Block 3 or higher required)
- Willingness to work shifts, weekends, and holidays
- Welding certification is considered an asset
- Must meet J.D. Irving, Limited (JDI) selection criteria
