Job Summary:

IT Listing and Corporate Systems department is responsible for the implementation, development and support of multiple corporate wide systems including our ongoing AI based initiatives, our external Websites and Intranet. We partner and collaborate with the systems infrastructure and information security teams to ensure high service level and systems availability are provided to our internal corporate divisions.

As an application development manager in IT Listing and Corporate Systems department – Corporate Web Services, the incumbent would be responsible for leading the implementation, delivery, and ongoing support of mission-critical, externally facing corporate website platforms. The role oversees end-to-end (backend to frontend) system delivery, ensuring high availability, security, and performance, while aligning with enterprise architecture, governance, and business objectives.

Job Duties:

Responsibilities:

  • End-to-End Engineering (Back-to-Front): Oversee full-stack delivery across CMS, APIs, and frontend platforms. Ensure integration, performance, and security across the entire application stack.
  • Technical Acceptance: Review and approve end-to-end solutions covering frontend, backend, CMS, and integrations. Ensure compliance with architecture, security, and operational standards.
  • Project Management: Lead end-to-end delivery of corporate website initiatives, including planning, execution, and production rollout. Manage timelines, scope, risks, and dependencies to ensure successful delivery.
  • Vendor Management: Manage system integrators and vendors across development and support engagements. Monitor deliverables, service quality, and adherence to contractual commitments.
  • Business Requirements: Gather and translate business needs into clear functional and technical requirements. Ensure alignment between business objectives, user experience, and system capabilities.
  • Testing and Quality Assurance: Oversee SIT, UAT, performance, and Operation Acceptance testing. Ensure quality standards, defect management, and release readiness are met.
  • Incident Response & Recovery: Lead and coordinate incident response activities, including impact assessment, workaround identification, and service restoration within defined SLA targets.
  • Collaboration and Stakeholder Management: Work closely with business, UX/UI, infrastructure, and security teams. Provide regular status updates to stakeholders and senior management.
  • Project Financials: Manage budgets, forecasts, and cost tracking. Support procurement and vendor evaluation activities.
  • Documentation and Training: Ensure complete system and operational documentation. Drive knowledge transfer and training for support teams.
  • Continuous Improvement: Proactively identify opportunities for process improvement, automation, and optimization. Contribute to the development of best practices, standards, and frameworks to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of future implementations.


Requirements:

  • Education: Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 15 years of proven experience in IT application development, with strong focus on external-facing web platforms and digital services. Proven experience in end-to-end implementation and production support of enterprise-scale corporate websites.
  • Technical Skills: Hands-on knowledge of web architectures (e.g., CMS, APIs, backend-for-frontend pattern). Experience with modern web platforms (e.g., headless CMS, cloud native infrastructure, DevOps practices) and solid understanding of IT security, performance, and scalability considerations.
  • Analytical Thinking: Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to understand complex technical requirements, identify potential challenges, and devise solutions flexibly.
  • Communication: Excellent command of verbal and written communication.
