🔧 Thermal & Mechanical Engineer

📍 Location: Budapest | 🌍 R&D / Engineering

Join our team and help design cutting-edge thermal and mechanical solutions that power reliable, high-performing products.

In this role, you will work across the full product lifecycle – from concept development to product release – collaborating with global teams to deliver robust and efficient engineering solutions.

🚀 Your responsibilities

🔬 Engineering & design

  • Develop and implement thermal and mechanical solutions aligned with performance and reliability requirements
  • Design and validate components, subsystems, and systems within broader product architectures
  • Apply latest technologies and research findings to improve design solutions

⚙️ Product development & validation

  • Perform analysis, simulations, and testing to ensure optimal system performance
  • Define technical specifications and contribute to product propositions
  • Ensure designs meet industry standards and project objectives

🌍 Collaboration & innovation

  • Work closely with cross-functional teams (R&D, Product, Manufacturing)
  • Bring an outside-in perspective, understanding customer and market needs
  • Stay connected with global competence communities and research teams

💡 Continuous improvement & IP

  • Drive innovation and contribute to IP creation (patents, know-how, etc.)
  • Document development work, reports, and project deliverables
  • Support technology roadmap development (depending on seniority level)
  • Mentor and share knowledge within the team (for more senior profiles)

🎯 Your profile

  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Thermal Engineering or related field
  • Experience in thermal / mechanical design and analysis, ideally in R&D environment
  • Strong knowledge of thermodynamics, fluid mechanics, materials science
  • Hands-on approach to problem-solving and engineering challenges
  • Good communication skills and ability to work in cross-functional teams

💡 Nice to have:

  • Experience in hardware/product development
  • Engineering certification (e.g., PE or similar)
  • Experience with simulation tools (CFD, FEM)
