About the location:

Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens opened in March 2019 and provides a preferred address for both business and leisure travelers, and the highly personalized, anticipatory service that Four Seasons guests expect and value around the world. The Arion Hotel was built in 1967 and has 106 keys and 61 Bungalows, and the Nafsika opened in 1980 and has 136 keys. Under the same ownership is a large private beach club and marina. Nafsika is open through the year, while Arion and the bungalows operate eight months of the year. Adding to the complement of on-site F&B operations (8 Restaurants and Bars), there are also two third party restaurants on site.

About the Role

At Four Seasons Astir Palace Hotel Athens (ranked No. 17 in the World’s 50 Best Hotels), we are seeking a skilled and motivated Plumber to join our Engineering Department in a permanent capacity.

This role is responsible for maintaining and repairing the hotel’s plumbing systems and supporting the overall maintenance of guestrooms, public areas, and back-of-house facilities. Working closely with the Engineering team, you will help ensure the resort operates safely, efficiently, and to the exceptional standards of Four Seasons.

What You Will Do

  • Understand and strictly adhere to the Rules & Regulations established in the Employees Handbook and the Hotel’s policies on Fire, Hygiene, Health and Safety.
  • Handle guest and employee maintenance requests in a courteous and efficient manner, ensuring prompt follow-up when required.
  • Repair bathroom plumbing, replace or repair leaking faucets and damaged lavatory sinks, and unclog toilets, shower, and sink drains.
  • Perform preventive maintenance in guestrooms and public areas.
  • Repair equipment brought to the Engineering workshop by other departments.
  • Estimate the type and quantity of materials required for assigned projects and requisition materials when necessary.
  • Maintain records, logs, and reports of work performed and materials used.
  • Assist with installing or relocating existing and new equipment when required.
  • Respond to work orders, room inspection reports, and emergency situations such as fires or power failures.
  • Report any damages identified throughout the resort using the Engineering reporting systems.

What You Bring

  • Previous experience as a Plumber within a hotel, commercial building, or similar environment.
  • Strong knowledge of plumbing systems, preventive maintenance, and repair techniques.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve maintenance issues efficiently.
  • Good organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong commitment to health, safety, and quality standards.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative Engineering team.
  • Good communication skills and a guest-oriented approach.
  • European Passport or legal right to work in Greece.

Schedule & Contract

Permanent position – 5 working days per week, 2 days off.
