Bilfinger UK are looking for a Qualoty Manager to join us at our BGEN facility based in Royson
This position is based on an 11 day rolling 3 day off rotation, 10 hours a day
Responsible for ensuring quality assurance and control systems and documents are established, communicated, applied and effective at providing ‘right first time’ quality
documentation to the client in a timely manner.
To ensure that the company quality arrangements and documents are maintained to best serve the needs of the business. To ensure the application of Quality Systems
such that it adds value to business processes used within Bilfinger UK Ltd and to ensure that audit processes and external accreditation requirements are satisfied.
Role Specific Activities
Plastics experience not necessary adaptable skills from adjacent or similar industries are acceptable.
Manage the quality engineers to complete the scope of work for quality documentation
Ensure documents are completed to the highest standard, tracked and monitored for sign off
Develop, write and maintain Quality documentation reviewing, developing and implementing procedures and processes in line with client requirements
Ensure that the Quality procedures are current, efficient and meet the business needs
Ensuring the effective communication of Quality requirements for the contract are in place
Manage audit process and databases
Auditing the application of Management System (BMS) and other business processes across all operational disciplines
Producing internal and external reports and schedules for the client on a weekly basis
Develop and execute audit programmes and maintain a continuous compliance monitoring process
Ensuring that corrective action processes are active and effective at resolving identified non-conformities (NCR)
Develop project and task related Quality documentation reviewing, developing and implementing quality and test plans
Represent Business at highest level with clients in relation to Quality
Identifying and sharing best practice and learning
Advising on compliance with applicable legislation and industry best practic
Provides technical expertise/consultancy for Quality in line with plastics standards.
Conducts routine audits and ensures/verifies compliance of the business with the BMS
Provides technical guidance for the supervision and management of Quality
Interfaces with customer technical authorities and third party technical representatives on any issues relating to Quality
Maintains links with relevant external/professional bodies in Quality, identifying and implementing best practice
