This role ensures the organization anticipates structural shifts in the external environment and translates those shifts into clear strategic implications and actionable decisions. The Director identifies weak signals, disruptive forces, regulatory inflection points, macroeconomic changes, technological acceleration, demographic transitions, and competitive transformation that could materially alter the credit union’s long-term business model, financial resilience, and strategic positioning.
