MAJOR AREAS OF ACCOUNTABILITY

PERSONAL PROFILE OF POSITION HOLDER

 

POSITION OVERVIEW

We are seeking a highly motivated and delivery-oriented Strategy Analyst to join our Strategy team.

This role will be responsible for contributing to strategic and transformation projects, supporting project leaders in the Functions or the Countries, conducting in-depth analyses and contributing to delivering actionable recommendations as well as contributing to the dynamics of the internal network of Strategy contributors.

 

RESPONSIBILITIES

As a Strategy Analyst, you will be assigned a portfolio of projects and work packages. These could include the following types of activities: 

●      Strategic analysis: conduct comprehensive market research, competitor analysis and industry benchmarking to identify growth opportunities and potential threats.

●      Data analysis; analyze large datasets to derive meaningful insights and develop data-driven recommendations to optimize business performance

●      Business modeling: contribute to projects aimed at supporting functions / countries in revisiting operational models (including for ex process redesign, organization redesign, role mandates definition)

●      Project Management and delivery; contribute to cross-functional teams to execute strategic or transformation projects, ensuring timely delivery and effective implementation of initiatives. Support Project Managers in steering or delivering their projects, possibly taking responsibility of the delivery of specific work packages.

●      Change management: collaborate with stakeholders to drive organizational change and transformation initiatives

●      Stakeholder engagement: build strong relationships with internal teams to facilitate collaboration and information sharing, contribute to all initiatives in this area

●      Continuous learning: stay up-to-date with industry trends, best practices and emerging technologies to bring innovative ideas to the team

 

INTERNAL AND EXTERNAL RELATIONSHIPS

●      Internal:  All functions and organizations, project leaders, network of Transformation / Strategy leaders in the Business Units / Countries, Function / Country directors

●      External: Partners, suppliers, other companies (benchmarks), consultancy / market study

 

PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE

●      A first experience of 2 years ideally in management consulting. Or 3 years of experience in a strategy or corporate development department

●      Master’s Degree from Business school or an Engineering degree

 

 

LANGUAGES: Fluent English, ideally conversional French

MAJOR AREAS OF COMPETENCY NECESSARY FOR SUCCESS

 

-        Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with ability to translate complex data into actionable insights

-        Excellent communication and presentation skills (oral & written, fluent English

-        Mastery of Excel and PowerPoint, to produce data-driven and analytical presentations, with sharp messages and design (including use of add-ons like EE and Thinkcell)

-        Good project management skills, including the ability to organize a work package or contribute to cross-functional teams

-        Ability to understand organization dynamics and to operate in a multinational context

-        Proven interpersonal skills, with ability to mobilize a network of contributors and to interact at different levels in the organization,

-        Reliable, meeting timelines and quality requirements

-        Interest for the mobility or transportation industry
