Job Description
We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Business Risk Professional to lead the management of product documentation and procedures while ensuring products operate effectively and in compliance with regulatory and corporate standards. In this role, you will balance strategic thinking with hands-on execution, collaborating across teams to drive continuous improvement and deliver clear, compliant customer communications.
Key Responsibilities
- Own and govern product documentation: Serve as the primary owner of deposit product documentation and customer communications, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and alignment with regulatory requirements.
- Drive compliance and risk management: Ensure all materials and processes meet applicable laws, regulations, and corporate policies; support audits and regulatory inquiries.
- Lead process and procedure management: Maintain and enhance procedures, including annual reviews and updates, with appropriate risk and compliance engagement.
- Enable operational excellence: Manage document repositories and systems, ensuring easy access, version control, and efficient updates.
- Act as a subject matter expert: Provide guidance on documentation and procedures, supporting cross-functional teams with timely, informed insights.
- Identify improvement opportunities: Analyze processes and recommend enhancements that improve efficiency, reduce risk, and elevate customer experience.
- Collaborate across the enterprise: Partner with stakeholders across risk, compliance, legal, technology, digital, branch, and operations to deliver aligned outcomes.
- Enhance customer experience: Contribute to clear, transparent, and compliant customer communications that build trust and confidence.
- Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
- Seven to 10 years of applicable experience
- Applicable professional certifications
- Strong knowledge of banking operations, regulatory environment, and risk management practices
- Experience managing customer communications and documentation governance
- Proven ability to lead cross-functional initiatives and influence stakeholders
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Analytical, detail-oriented, and highly organized with strong execution focus
- Self-starter with the ability to work independently and drive results
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint)

This role is hybrid. Team members who are in a hybrid role typically spend three days a week at the listed U.S. Bank location(s), while having flexibility on their work location for the other working days.

The salary range reflects figures based on the primary location, which is listed first. The actual range for the role may differ based on the location of the role. In addition to salary, U.S. Bank offers a comprehensive benefits package, including incentive and recognition programs, equity stock purchase 401(k) contribution and pension (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements). Pay Range: $105,400.00 - $124,000.00U.S. Bank will consider qualified applicants with arrest or conviction records for employment.
