Responsibilities
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills in English
- Ability to work independently or within a team
- Proficiency in software development lifecycle
- Development and maintenance of on-line transaction processing system for scratchcard lottery
- Participation in future system deployments for world-wide customers
- Hotline support for production systems
Qualifications
- University Degree in Computer Science or a related fields
- Strong C or C++ programming skills
- Java programmic skills
- Good understanding relational database algebra
- Knowledge of C application programming under RedHat Linux
- Two years or more of software working experience in professional software development UNIX shell scripting
- Good command in English language –written and spoken
- Availability for international travel (less then 10% per a year)
- Based in Poland (hybrid working model - 2 days weekly from office in Warsaw)
Nice to have
- Working experience in International projects in larger software teams
- Programming large scale, multiuser, distributed systems
- Job related certificates/diplomas
- C++ programming skills
- SQL skills at any common RDBMS, preferably DB2 or Postgres
- Leading small projects

This information reflects Brightstar Lottery’s good-faith estimate of compensation for this position at the time of publication. Actual compensation will be determined in accordance with the applicable collective agreement and internal compensation policies. Factors that we consider include, but are not limited to, role, career level, performance, skills, level of expertise, experience, location, market competitiveness, and internal equity. The estimated starting compensation range is 146,064 zł – 224,714 zł. The Company will comply with all local pay requirements and collective bargaining agreements, where applicable.

This position is governed by collective bargaining agreement, which regulates the main terms and conditions of employment, including minimum salary levels, classification, working hours, leave, and other employment rights.
