About The Opportunity
Enhances product workflow by analyzing and developing logistics plans that affect production, distribution, and inventory. Creates and reviews procedures for distribution and inventory management to maximize customer satisfaction and minimize cost.Essential Job Functions
The following duties are normal for this position. The incumbent may perform some or all of these duties however; it is not an exclusive or all-inclusive list. Other duties may be assigned.
- Monitor, document and resolve finished goods and work in progress
- Reconcile IDoc /Work flow issues
- Research and resolve negative reports in SAP
- Manual posting production in client systems.
- Monitor pallet aging report with reconciliation progress to all customers
- Identify missing LPN’s, PM vs. RP and document
- Investigate and determine BOM issues (Work in progress subs – Consumption issues)
- Research and resolve all Finished Goods and Work in Process that are in- route/ with Shipping Department
- Manager back door/front door reconciliation
- Research lost and missing items
- Supports continuous improvement initiatives for inventory management process and information flow
- Provide guidance to Inventory Department on SAP issues
Education & Experience
- Bachelor’s degree preferred
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience required
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
- Knowledge of and ability to use and influence organization's policies, standards and procedures guiding manufacturing processes
- Knowledge of strategies and tools for controlling and optimizing the factors that lie between the purchase of raw materials and delivery of finished products
- Ability to effectively manage the business relationship and transactions with the suppliers of raw materials or product components
- Knowledge of issues and considerations for effectively managing local or distributed inventories of raw materials, work in progress and finished goods
- Knowledge of the processes, tools and operational considerations for effective and efficient movement of goods and materials throughout the manufacturing cycle
- Knowledge of the day-to-day operations of a manufacturing plant or facility
- ·Experience or training in the field of receiving and departmental Inventory Management Systems
- Collaborative and cross functional background
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret written instructions
- Effective interpersonal skills, including listening and interpretation of instructions both oral and written
- Ability to operate and use all equipment necessary to manage process
- Problem solver, ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions
Physical Requirements & Work Environment
- Primarily works in an office environment with occasional time spent in a production and/or warehouse setting
The expected salary range for this position is $63,000 - $70,000. This role is also eligible for an annual incentive plan and for a full benefits package including medical, dental, and vision insurance; basic term life, AD&D, Short and Long term disability; EAP; 401(k) retirement savings plan; PTO and paid holidays.
