Long-Term Subsitute-Teacher of Deaf and Hard of Hearing
Job Description
Responsible for the planning and implementation of a program of instructional services provided in local education agencies (LEAs) to students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing. Key responsibilities include the instruction of students in skills found in the Expanded Core Competencies (e.g., academic language, audiology, career and work readiness, American Sign Language, spoken language, self-determination/self-advocacy, social-emotional competencies and technology). The position also provides consultation with and support for staff that work with students who are Deaf or Hard of Hearing.
