SUMMARY
The Production Planner for Fabric Care, Refrigerators, Plastics, and Stampings, is responsible for balancing demand, managing finished goods inventory, and ensuring customer service, line scheduling and sequencing production.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (What you will do)
- Maintain the demand flow tool.
- Maintain the capacity plan in accordance with the position.
- Schedule production in accordance with the rules of the road, PSI, Demand Flow, Actual Rates, sales and guidelines for finished goods inventory management.
- Revise the production schedule as necessary due to raw material shortages or capacity constraints.
- Revise the production schedule as necessary due to raw material shortages or capacity constraints, or new sales orders.
- Manage finished goods safety stock to prevent shortages and/or obsolescence.
- Work closely with other departments to resolve issues related to engineering, quality, manufacturing, and materials.
- Maintain communication with sales management and customer service representatives.
- Monitor performance in production, order scheduling, and product availability for customers.
- As well as all matters related to the ISO 9001 and ISO 14001 systems, audits, work instructions, and forms, and review them once a year.
- Responsible for implementing all requirements related to EMS, ISO 9001/14001/45001/50001/Green Spirit/Zero Waste Landfill, as applicable to the position.

- Regarding authority, all employees have the authority to halt processes, operations, or activities that pose a risk in terms of safety, hygiene, and the environment, and that could result in an accident or serious incident, as well as an impact on the environment.
- Given the sensitivity of such a decision regarding the impact it entails, it is requested and recommended that the decision be based on objective and common-sense justification.
Roles and Responsibilities Regarding (ISO 45001, 14001, 9001, 50001): Follow the operational procedures related to the Quality, Environmental, Energy, and Occupational Health and Safety Management Systems, and report any issues that affect or pose a risk to product quality, environmental safety, and/or occupational safety to the leaders and/or supervisors in your area.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS
1. Proficiency in English (spoken and written).
2. Bachelor’s degree or engineering degree.
3. Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Access) and email.
4. JDE & CPIM certification preferred.
5. Experience in production planning and scheduling, inventory control, and knowledge of purchasing-related activities such as entering purchase orders, MRP calculations, shipping, ABC analysis, and cycle counts.
6. Skills such as: leadership, proactivity, teamwork, professionalism, problem-solving, management skills, a positive attitude, excellent organization, and a customer-service focus.
7. Availability.
8. Ability to develop processes such as training materials, translation, continuous improvement, flowcharts, databases, and internal variances.
9. Communication skills.
10. Knowledge of ISO 9001
11. Knowledge of customs (Imports/Exports).
