Job Description
The Immigration Manager is responsible for managing corporate immigration services for a portfolio of clients, ensuring compliance with applicable immigration and employment laws and delivering high-quality, client-focused solutions. The role involves overseeing end-to-end immigration processes, managing complex casework, and leading a team while acting as a trusted advisor to clients on immigration strategy and risk.
Key Responsibilities
• Act as the primary point of contact for clients, providing clear, practical immigration advice and guidance.
• Maintain strong client relationships through regular communication and responsiveness to queries.
• Manage a portfolio of immigration cases and oversee end-to-end case processing.
• Handle complex or escalated cases and provide resolution strategies.
• Ensure compliance with immigration laws, regulations, and internal policies.
• Monitor regulatory developments and assess impact on clients.
• Manage, coach, and mentor junior team members.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to support client needs.
• Identify risks and provide practical, business-focused solutions.
• Support training, knowledge sharing, and process improvements within the team.
Skills & Experience
• Strong knowledge of corporate immigration processes and legislation.
• Experience managing complex immigration cases.
• Understanding of global mobility frameworks.
• Experience in an immigration, legal, or global mobility environment.
• Demonstrated experience managing client relationships.
• Previous people management or supervisory experience.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• High attention to detail and quality control.
Qualifications
• Minimum Degree Required: Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience.
• Required Fields of Study: Law, Human Resources, Business, International Relations, or related field.
• Minimum Years of Experience: Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in corporate immigration, global mobility, legal, or immigration advisory services.
