PCI is currently seeking a Branch Quality Engineer for our PCI Dallas 114 operations located in Midlothian, TX. The position will require working alongside the branch project teams with support from the Regional Quality Manager (RQM) on providing leadership and direction on all quality matters. This includes measuring and evaluating the effectiveness of the quality management system (QMS) by recognizing trends, risks, and opportunities for improvement (OFI) of the branch key performance indicators (KPIs). Position works closely with appropriate operational departments to direct the application and administration of established quality programs throughout the branch office.
Assist with customer quality inquiries (e.g., quality assessments, etc.)
Assist RQM on maintaining assigned PCI product line quality plan(s), procedure(s), and form(s)
Assist/Submit project specific PCI product line quality plan(s) for customer approval
Assist/Submit subcontractor quality plan(s) for customer approval
Assist project team(s) with fulfilling quality contractual obligations
Assist PCI project teams with QMS nonconformance reporting
Complete Corrective Action Requests (CARs) and maintain associated log
Complete Preventive Action Requests (PARs) and maintain associated log
Mentor assigned project quality team representative(s)
Provide quality presentations to colleagues, customers, etc.
Provide, coordinate, and record PCI QMS, tool, vendor specialty, quality software, equipment, product line quality plan(s), etc. training
Solicit customer QMS feedback
Monitor, measure, analyze, and evaluate assigned branch office quality KPI’s for trends, OFI, and risks
Attend/Coordinate project quality kick-off meeting(s)
Develop and lead quality toolbox talks and foreman meeting materials
Coordinate both internal and external quality audits
Complete Audit Finding Reports and maintain associated log
Will not have direct supervision of employee(s)
Perform any additional quality tasks as needed
Salary Range: $72,400-$97,000 annual salary plus non-guaranteed annualized bonus program.
Basic Requirements:
5-7 years working within commercial and/or industrial construction trade
2-3 years’ experience leading others
Experience working with interior services
Familiarity with SharePoint, Procore, and Microsoft Office (includes Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
Adaptable, ambitious, big picture thinker, collaborative, cooperative, engaging, outgoing, hardworking, self-directed, reliable, etc.
Excellent and professional communication skills, both written and oral
Strong attention to detail
Demonstrates a solutions-oriented mindset
Demonstrates the ability to adapt to ever-evolving environments
Proven track record working successfully independently as well as with a team and/or working alongside various stakeholders
Strong organizational skills
Ability to positively foster, influence, lead, and manage change
Ability to travel 60% of the time
Preferred Qualifications:
Associate’s degree in business administration or construction focus
Knowledge of QMS and ISO 9001 standards
Experience in developing and delivering training programs
Familiarity with CAR and PAR processes
Experience utilizing QMS software and tools
Ability to lead internal and external quality audits
Knowledge of regulatory compliance requirements in relevant industries
Fluency in Spanish is preferred
Local to the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex
