Job Summary: The Episodic Senior Organizational Psychology Subject Matter Expert (SME) works within the SOF Assessment and Training environment, and provides specialized expertise during designated assessment, training, research, and system development efforts. This role supports the application, interpretation, and refinement of data to ensure accurate performance assessment and alignment with desired attributes.

The SME delivers expert consultation during discrete events or projects, supporting performance analysis, survey development, research activities, and program refinement. This position operates independently under Government direction and in coordination with program leadership to support mission requirements.

Primary Responsibilities:
  • Provide subject matter expertise on the Assessment and Analytics program, and its application during assessment and training events
  • Support performance analysis, data validation, and interpretation of program outputs
  • Assist with development, review, and refinement of assessment tools, surveys, and measurement approaches
  • Conduct or support Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSA) studies for new or evolving program initiatives
  • Support small human performance system implementation and research efforts
  • Provide expert recommendations to program leadership and Government stakeholders
  • Participate in after-action reviews and support development of findings and recommendations
  • Support episodic on-site or remote activities as directed by the Government
  • Maintain compliance with security, access, and data protection requirements
  • Uphold professional standards of conduct and accountability throughout all support activities
Minimum Qualifications:
  • Master’s Degree in Organizational Psychology
  • 5-10 years of experience in organizational development, human resources, management consulting, or a related field
  • Deep understanding of core I/O constructs and the theories underpinning them
  • Skilled in advanced statistical analysis techniques and data modeling
  • Expertise in research design, sampling techniques, and statistical inference
  • Ability to work independently and provide expert consultation to senior stakeholders
  • Active Secret security clearance with the ability to maintain clearance
  • Ability to travel episodically to Government-designated locations
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Doctorate Degree in Organizational Psychology
  • Experience supporting military or government training programs
  • Familiarity with assessment, selection, or performance evaluation environments
  • Advanced experience with statistical analysis or research methodologies
  • Familiarity with Assessment and Selection concepts or comparable human performance systems
  • Experience supporting SOF or other operational training pipelines
Clearance Requirements: Secret

Type of Employment: Part-time, on call

T3i Drug Free Workplace Statement: As a Federal Government Contractor, T3i is required to strictly adhere to federally mandated drug-free workplace standards.  To ensure compliance with this requirement, T3i conducts pre-employment drug screening for all new hire personnel (full time, part time, and independent contractor) and annual random drug screening for all current T3i personnel.  All drug screening includes testing for the following drugs, at a minimum: Marijuana (CBD, hemp oil, and other cannabidiol use may result in a positive result), cocaine, amphetamines, opiates, 6-monoacetylmorphine, and PCP.  Personnel who cannot pass drug screening are not eligible for employment with T3i.
