Job Description
• Plan and manage preventive maintenance activities to ensure equipment reliability and uptime.
• Coordinate and prioritize work orders to minimize production downtime
• Lead and supervise maintenance engineers and contractors, providing guidance and training.
• Monitor and maintain inventory of spare parts and supplies, ensuring availability when needed.
• Develop and manage maintenance budgets, tracking expenses and identifying cost-saving opportunities.
• Identify process improvements and equipment upgrades to improve efficiency and reduce maintenance needs.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and adherence to company policies and procedures.
• Maintain accurate records and documentation for maintenance activities, including work orders and equipment history.
• Collaborate with production and engineering teams to support projects and new equipment installations.
• Maintain positive relationships with vendors and suppliers to ensure timely delivery and cost-effective solutions..
• Analyses the frequent failures, diagnosing its causes, suggesting suitable treats and supervising corrective action to decrease the probability of those failure.
Areas of Responsibilities:
Approving vacations and excuses of engineers.
Assessing performance of engineers within Performance management system.
Organizational Relationships:
• Supervision of all maintenance engineers inside the factory.
• Functional relationships with: all Plant’s department
• External Relationships: suppliers/service providers
