We have an exciting permanent opportunity for Materials Planner & Production Scheduler to join our Manufacturing team, based out of our Echuca (VIC) Kraft Heinz site!

Key position responsibilities include, but not limited to:

  • Build and maintain supplier delivery schedules for all site-purchased materials

  • Negotiate and confirm supplier lead times and delivery dates to support production needs

  • Raise, maintain, and audit purchase orders; proactively manage overdue orders and expedite where required

  • Identify emerging long-term material constraints early and drive mitigation plans with suppliers and internal teams

  • Ensure the MRP plan is accurate and stable so materials can be ordered within standard lead times

  • Maintain high-quality planning and master data integrity within the site’s ERP/planning systems

  • Manage material shortfalls and supply disruptions to protect an achievable production plan

  • Develop stable weekly production schedules and issue shop orders for manufacturing execution

  • Participate in the monthly Sales & Operating Plan process, contributing to a realistic longer-term supply and production plan

  • Control site inventory to policy, including slow-moving/obsolete stock, and support service targets through effective finished goods load planning and cross-functional coordination

About you:

  • Maintenance planner with experience in operational roles, including in fast-moving consumer goods (FMCG).

  • Proven in coordinating day-to-day supply needs with vendors, negotiating delivery quantities and timings to support production.

  • Works well cross-functionally with manufacturing leaders, procurement, production etc.

  • Supports new or changed materials by working with Product Development on introductions and suitable alternatives.

  • Confident user of business systems (including BPCS – ERP knowledge or similar systems) and advanced Microsoft Office skills to keep plans, records, and reporting accurate.

  • Strong analytical and numeracy skills, with high attention to detail when managing orders, inventory, and schedules.

  • Clear communicator with solid time management, able to collaborate across teams and keep stakeholders aligned on priorities and next steps.

  • Full working rights in Australia with no restrictions.
