Job Description
Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW)
Overview
The Child Center is a comprehensive, community-based organization committed to strengthening children and families across New York City. Our Licensed Clinical Social Workers play a critical role in delivering high-quality, trauma-informed, and culturally responsive services across multiple levels of care.

Licensed Clinical Social Workers can find opportunities with several of our divisions, including:
1. Behavioral Health Services
Outpatient and community-based behavioral health treatment serving a diverse community across their life span through individual, family, and group therapy, psychiatric collaboration, and specialized evidence-based programs.
2. Youth Development
School and community-based child and adolescent programs focused on prevention and early intervention social emotional supports including crisis intervention, prevention, mentoring and afterschool enrichment.
3. Residential Treatment Facility (RTF)
Interdisciplinary trauma-informed treatment programs serving children and adolescents with significant emotional and behavioral health needs requiring structured, 24-hour care.
4. Early Childhood & Family Services
Programs supporting young children and caregivers through early learning centers, home visiting, parent-focused interventions, and early childhood mental health services.
5. Community & Prevention Services
Community-based initiatives focused on strengthening protective factors within neighborhoods, stabilizing families, preventing violence and responding to crisis.
