About The Role
Knight Frank is seeking a senior-level SEO and GEO strategy leader to drive organic growth, lead generation, and technical search performance across Knight Frank’s digital platforms.
This role will own the strategic direction for both traditional Search Engine Optimisation (SEO) and Generative Engine Optimisation (GEO), ensuring Knight Frank’s web ecosystem is discoverable, technically robust, and positioned to perform across evolving AI-driven search experiences.
The successful candidate will combine deep technical SEO expertise with strong commercial acumen and cross-functional leadership. You will work closely with Product, UX, Engineering, Content, and Marketing teams to optimise our digital products, improve search visibility, and drive qualified lead generation across residential, commercial, and international property audiences. This is a highly strategic and hands-on role suited to someone who thrives in complex digital environments and can influence at senior stakeholder level.
Key Responsibilities:
SEO & GEO Strategy:
Develop and lead Knight Frank’s global SEO and GEO strategy to increase organic visibility, traffic, and lead generation.
Define the roadmap for organic growth across traditional search engines and AI-powered discovery platforms.
Identify opportunities to improve search presence across property listings, editorial content, local search, and digital product experiences.
Monitor industry changes in search algorithms, AI search interfaces, and generative discovery trends, adapting strategy proactively.
Technical SEO leadership:
Own the technical SEO health of Knight Frank’s digital estate, ensuring best practice implementation across all web products.
Partner with Product, UX, and Engineering teams to ensure SEO requirements are embedded into product development.
Lead technical website SEO & GEO audits to ensure the core fundamentals are in place to drive visibility and traffic performance.
Establish scalable technical frameworks and governance processes for ongoing optimisation.
GEO strategy:
Develop strategies to improve visibility and citation within AI-powered search and generative answer engines.
Collaborate with Content and PR teams to improve authority, entity recognition, structured content, and source credibility.
Evaluate how AI-driven search experiences impact traffic, lead generation, and user journeys.
Define new KPIs and reporting frameworks for GEO performance.
Performance & Analytics
Define KPIs focused on traffic growth, visibility and lead generation.
Deliver regular reporting and strategic insights to leadership teams.
Manage SEO forecasting, performance benchmarking, and competitive analysis.
Experience Required:
The ideal candidate will have experience of:
Translate technical SEO concepts into clear business recommendations for senior stakeholders.
Influence product roadmaps to ensure organic search considerations are prioritised from discovery through deployment.
Support international teams with market-specific SEO strategy and governance.
Deep technical SEO expertise with a strong understanding of modern web technologies and performance optimisation.
Driving measurable growth in organic traffic and lead generation.
Understanding of AI-driven search trends & emerging GEO best practices.
Commercial awareness and ability to align with business outcomes.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
