About the Opportunity:
The Shipping Administrator is responsible for accurately processing outbound shipments by processing data and transactions in the ERP system, managing required documentation, and submitting information through customer portals with exceptional detail. This role supports aerospace quality and traceability requirements while coordinating shipping activities and working closely with Quality, Material Handling, and Production to keep orders moving smoothly and on schedule.

Responsibilities:
- Process outbound serialized shipment and inventory transactions in the ERP system and customer portals with precise, exceptional‑detail data entry and accuracy
- Ensure all required shipping documentation, certificates, and approvals are complete, accurate, aligned with the physical shipment, and properly uploaded to ERP and customer systems
- Verify that all paperwork, labeling, file formats, and documentation processes meet customer‑specific, aerospace, and export compliance requirement
- Maintain organized, audit‑ready digital documentation and shipping records
- Actively resolve documentation discrepancies by coordinating with Quality, Production, and Purchasing
- Ensure all outbound shipments comply with AS9100 requirements and customer documentation rule
- Handle serialized and traceable parts accurately, maintaining consistent and complete record alignment across all systems and documents
- Coordinate and process domestic and international shipments, including export‑controlled or special‑handling shipments
- Prepare accurate shipping documents such as Bills of Lading, packing lists, labels, and commercial invoices
- Schedule carriers and ensure shipments are processed, staged, and released on time
- Communicate shipment status, documentation needs, and workflow requirements across internal departments
- Support ongoing process improvements in shipping workflows, documentation accuracy, and digital recordkeeping
- Maintain a safe, organized, and compliant shipping environment
- Administer cycle count process
- Support material handling including kitting, receiving and warehouse management as needed
- Support warehouse optimization projects, physical inventory and other projects as needed
Required Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in a Shipping Administrator or similar outbound‑focused role
- Must be authorized to work in the U.S. on a full-time basis without sponsorship now or in the future.
- Must be able to perform work subject to ITAR/EAR regulations.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience in aerospace, defense, or other regulated manufacturing environments
- Familiarity with AS9100 or similar quality and traceability standards
- Proven accuracy managing serialized and lot‑controlled components with full traceability
- Experience working with export‑controlled items or ITAR/EAR requirements
- Experience preparing export documentation and handling international shipments
- Ability to identify workflow gaps, documentation inconsistencies, and opportunities for process improvement
Working Conditions:
- Requires mobility in a manufacturing plant environment while using Personal Protective Equipment.
- Must be able to frequently sit, stand and walk.
- Must be able to lift and carry up to 45 pounds.
- Must be able to have prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.
- Must be able to travel between locations or to suppliers up to 25% of time.
