Job Title: Automation Engineer

Position Overview
We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Automation Engineer to join our dynamic engineering team. This role is ideal for someone with a solid foundation in automation and testing who is ready to take on more responsibility and contribute to the design and implementation of scalable automation solutions. You will play a key role in enhancing the quality and efficiency of our software development lifecycle by building robust automation frameworks and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless integration and delivery.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and maintain automated test scripts and frameworks for web, desktop, and backend systems.
- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and DevOps to integrate automation into CI/CD pipelines.
- Analyze test results, identify bugs, and work with the development team to resolve issues.
- Develop and maintain documentation for automation processes and tools.
- Continuously improve automation strategies and coverage to ensure high-quality software delivery.
- Monitor and report on automation metrics and test coverage.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in automation engineering or software testing.
- Proficiency in at least one programming/scripting language (e.g., Python, C#, JavaScript).
- Experience with automation tools such as Selenium, Cypress, Playwright, or similar.
- Familiarity with CI/CD tools like Jenkins, GitLab CI, or GitHub Actions.
- Understanding of software development life cycle (SDLC) and agile methodologies.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience with performance testing tools (e.g., JMeter, Gatling).
- Knowledge of containerization and orchestration tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).
- Exposure to cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, GCP).
