Job Description

Eaton Slough

The Slough site is a key hub for our UK business, bringing together the UK Sales Organisation alongside several regional and corporate teams. It’s a busy, collaborative environment with a wide mix of roles all working toward shared goals. Our Sales Organisation partners closely with the Product Business Units to deliver industry‑leading solutions across Lighting, Fire, Security, Power Quality, Power Distribution, and Industrial Controls, supporting customers across many different sectors.

What you’ll do:

Our team turns complex business questions into actionable insights and products that the business actually uses. You will work directly with stakeholders, challenge assumptions, and build fast, iterative solutions that improve week by week. If you value curiosity over certainty and real impact over busywork, you will thrive here.

- Work with stakeholders to turn unclear requests into clear business problems through structured discovery and thoughtful questioning.
- Assess data availability and quality through exploratory analysis, then transform raw data into clean, trusted datasets ready for reporting.
- Design data models that reflect real business logic, not just technical structure.
- Build MVP dashboards early and iterate them in short cycles based on real user feedback.
- Communicate insights clearly and present outcomes to non-technical stakeholders.
- Create well-documented data products and processes so others can understand, trust, and reuse your work.
- Actively contribute to the team: share knowledge, support others, and build on each other’s ideas to solve problems better together.
- Identify opportunities to automate processes and build scalable solutions beyond dashboards.

Qualifications:

Maths, Economics, Statistics or other STEM subjects are preferred major fields.
2 years

Skills:

- Ability to explore, assess, analyze and transform data: identifying patterns, inconsistencies, and limitations, and preparing clean datasets for analysis.
- Ability to build actionable  dashboards using data visualization tools (e.g, Power BI, Tableau): highlighting the  metrics driving decisions and removing unnecessary complexity from the dashboard.
- Ability to structure work as reusable  products: documenting logic, calculations, and processes so others can build on your work.
- Working knowledge of descriptive and univariate statistics to explore data, validate insights, and support decision-making."
- Collaborate in a remote work environment: shares knowledge, asks questions,  builds on ideas, and supports teammates to achieve better outcomes together.
- Takes ownership, communicates clearly, and moves development work forward through small iterative steps.
- Curious and thoughtful: asks the right questions, challenges assumptions, and looks for the real problem behind the initial request.
